This week the students will:

*Focus on the letters "b" and "r"
*Isolate initial and final sounds

*Use the 3 square strip to identify first and last sounds
*Play Letter Match Game
*Review Fry Phrases
*Blend words
*Review rhyming words
*Review all sight words
*Focus on the new sight words - "come" and "and"

Week of January19th

Holiday  - Monday

This week the students will be:

*Focusing on the letter "r'
*Isolate initial and final sounds
*Say the last sound of a picture
*Use the 3 square to identify first and last sounds (Use letter tiles)
*Practice writing letters
*Connect sounds to letters
*Review all sight words
*Introduce the words "was and there" - Drill the words - go, from, said, what
*Practice Phoneme Segmentation - Rhyming Words - Nonsense Words - Blending

Continue to help your child each day.  Please check your child's folder for homework that may be due!!!

Week of January 12th

The students will:

*Begin focusing on the letter "r"
*Focus on ending sounds of  d, p, t
*Connect sounds to letters
*Initial/Final sounds
*Choose letters that go with the last sounds using letter tiles
*Review all letters and sounds
*Review all sight words
*Focus on the sight words - go, from
* Practice writing letters using the correct formation
*Poetry Notebook
*Practice blending words
*Practice Phoneme Segmentation
*Practice Non-Sense words
