The students will:

*Continue to study the letter "a"
*Play find the letter game
*Isolate initial sounds
*Use the 3 square to determine initial sounds
*Play sound match with letter tiles
*Connect sounds to letters
*Review sight words- they, little, of, with, is, she, he, for, a, look, have, see, am, we, I, you, to, the, me, like, my
*Introduce - are, that
*Practice writing letters using the correct formation

Please help your child complete his/her homework each night!

This week the students will:

*Focus on the letter "a"
*Review the letters m, p, f, t, c, l, d, s
*Isolate initial sounds
*First sound song "l"
*Match a pictures initial sound
*Practice writing letters
*Sound match with letter tiles
*3 square strip - cvc words
*Letter tag
*Introduce sight words - they, you, of
*Review sight words - he, we, me, the, she, am, a, little, to, look, I, have, my, for, is, see, with, like
*ABC Drill

  I sent sight word flash cards home with your child.  Please review these each day.

*Next week is RED RIBBON WEEK!
M- Wear red and a mustache
Tu- Dress like a cowboy/cowgirl
W- Dress like a super hero
Th- Wear team colors
F- Wear costume - Not scary

*Add new sight words - see, look, she
*Practice writing letters using the correct formation
*Practice writing name
*Day 5 Assessment

This week we will:

*Focus on the  letter "l"
*Isolate initial sounds
*Connect sounds to letters
*Match a pictures initial sound
*Picture search for "s"
*Review sight words - I, am, a, the, to, little, my, is, have, like, he, we
*Introduce sight words - for, me, with
*Practice writing letters/name
