Thursday - IEP MEETINGS and Make-up DIBELS TESTING

Friday -  We will review all letters, sounds and sight words.  We will play games and review all we have learned this year!

Week of April 27th

Monday - I will be absent.

*Review all letters and sounds
*Review all sight words
*DIBELS Practice - LNF/NWF
*Play games with sight words
*Practice blending words

*I will be sending home a homework sheet this week!  Please help your child practice this sheet each night!!!

Week of April 20th

This week we will:

*Review all letters and sounds
*Review all sight words - Your child should be practicing these each night.
*Read Phonics Story - "Fix It"
*Practice non-sense words and blending words
*Practice DIBELS - Letter Naming

Continue to help your child each night on the skills that are being taught!

Monday - PST Meetings

This week the students will:

* Focus on the letter "g"
* Use letter tiles on the 3 square to spell words
* Isolate initial sounds
* Segment words
* Connect sounds to letters
* Phonics Sheet - "The Park"
* Review Sight words - Play games

*Segment words
*Isolate initial and final sounds
*Connect sounds to letters
* Practice blending words
*Review sight words
*New sight words - not, all
*Use letter tiles to spell words
*Reading Passage - Tap! Tap! Tap!

*ABC Card drill
*Review sight words and play games
*New sight words - by, word, but, not, all

I sent home a list of sight words with your child.  Please make sure that your child practices these words each night.
