Week of December 8th

The students will:

*Focus on the letters "o" and "r"
*Isolate initial and final sounds
*Play first sound mix up
*Match a pictures last sound
*Play letter writing game
*Use letter tiles on the 3 square
*Review all sight words
*Practice writing letters
*Poetry Notebooks - Brown Bear Books and Color Song
*Practice blending words

Continue to help your child practice each day!!!!

Week of December 1st

This week the students will:

*Review all letters and sounds
*Review all sight words
*Poetry Notebook - Brown Bear
*Blend words
*Practice writing letters

*I will be absent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 

Week of November 17th

The students will:
* Continue to focus on the letter "o"
* Isolate initial and final sounds
* Locate the final sound on the 3 square
* Write the letters using the correct formation
* Review all sight words
* Read poem with fluency
* Blend words

Continue to work with your child each night. Practice saying the letters and sounds.

Week of November 10th

The students will:

* Focus on the letters "a" and "o"
* Isolate initial and final sounds
* Use the 3 Square to identify initial and final sound
* Write letters using the correct formation
* ABC Drills
* Practice Blending words
* Introduce words- do, here
* Review sight words - are, that, they, you, of, she, look, see, for, me, with, like, he, my, the, have, is, to, a, the, little, I, am

 Please help your child practice each night at home!!! You will be amazed at the difference it will make.  :)

Week of November 3rd

The students will:

*Continue to study the letter "a"
*Play find the letter game
*Isolate initial sounds
*Use the 3 square to determine initial sounds
*Play sound match with letter tiles
*Connect sounds to letters
*Review sight words- they, little, of, with, is, she, he, for, a, look, have, see, am, we, I, you, to, the, me, like, my
*Introduce - are, that
*Practice writing letters using the correct formation

This week the students will:

*Focus on the letter "a"
*Review the letters m, p, f, t, c, l, d, s
*Isolate initial sounds
*First sound song "l"
*Match a pictures initial sound
*Practice writing letters
*Sound match with letter tiles
*3 square strip - cvc words
*Letter tag
*Introduce sight words - they, you, of
*Review sight words - he, we, me, the, she, am, a, little, to, look, I, have, my, for, is, see, with, like
*ABC Drill

  I sent sight word flash cards home with your child.  Please review these each day.

*Next week is RED RIBBON WEEK!

W- Dress like a super hero
Th- Wear team colors
F- Wear costume - Not scary
